Milwaukee, WI - PrideFest Milwaukee, the nation's largest showcase of national, regional and local LGBT talent, returns this weekend June 5 - 7. The 28th annual celebration of local LGBT culture and community takes place at the Henry W. Maier Festival Park in Milwaukee.

With a 100+ performer entertainment line-up that blends LGBT community icons, including headliners Ani DiFranco, Ty Herndon and En Vogue, with emerging national talent and local Milwaukee favorites on ten stages, PrideFest Milwaukee has something for every age, every taste and every color of the rainbow this year.

"Your PrideFest ticket purchase is more than just a ticket to entertainment," said Kate Sherry, PrideFest Milwaukee producer. "It's a ticket to a weekend of freedom."

"We create a space where everyone can embrace and celebrate their best selves, surrounded by friends, family and fun. Being surrounded by all that positive energy is the best feeling in the world," she added.

In response to community feedback, this year's festival offers more trans-inclusive accommodations, including increased access to gender neutral restrooms, and continues to improve the trans visitor experience through community outreach.

"We all have much to be proud of this year in Wisconsin," said Scott Gunkel, president of Milwaukee Pride, Inc. "While there is still great LGBT+ awareness, education and equality work yet to be done, we invite you to pause, reflect, and celebrate a remarkable year at PrideFest 2015."

Tickets, including the popular 3-day weekend pass for just $33, are available online and at the gate. For more information, including a complete entertainment schedule, visit pridefest.com.
