Center on Halsted hosts two holiday events

Chicago, IL - Ring in the holidays with musical cheer as Outfront and Center at the Center on Halsted presents the "Lakeside Pride Ensembles Play Holiday Classics" concert on Monday, Dec. 15, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Hoover-Leppen Theatre. The concert will feature music from the Nutcracker Suite and other well-known holiday pieces. Tickets are $10 and $5 for students and seniors with valid ID. For more information., visit

In addition, Diva Femme Fatal Tamale makes her producing debut with "Family Tied" on Wednesday, Dec. 17. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with the performance from 7 to 9 p.m. at Center on Halsted's Hoover-Leppen Theatre. The show will feature local queer comediennes, Cameron Esposito, Sapna Kumar, Susan Dunn, Ashley Thorton and Miss Tamale. Tickets are $15 and students and seniors may purchase tickets for $10 at the door with valid ID.
