SKYY and Freedom to Marry toasts to Marriage Equality

SKYY Vodka and Freedom to Marry are teaming up to promote marriage equality nationwide.
The campaign, titled "Toast to Marriage" aims to to draw together communities all over the country in order to raise awareness and funds for marriage equality in places where same-sex couples are excluded from marriage.
Freedom to Marry is an organization that was launched by Evan Wolfson. It has been fighting for the rights of same-sex couples to marry since 2003, trying to "put an end to the exclusion of same-sex couples in marriage" by pushing states to make it legal.
The organization aims to raise awareness and grow public support for the movement to win the freedom to marry in the United States. This movement is set to make a toast towards marriage nationwide.
SKYY Vodka and Freedom to Marry will host a tour called the "Toast to Marriage" Tour which will go across the country to raise awareness and funds for Freedom to Marry.
This summer the "Toast to Marriage" tour will be visiting 11 cities, starting on Monday, June 16th in Atlanta, Georgia and will with a bound to be announced celebrity guest leader who will be raising a toast for marriage equality.
The tour campaign will go on through August, and is used to raise awareness to anyone not familiar in marriage equality. The tour will also aim towards recruiting supporters in each state to publically show their belief in marriage equality.
The tour will also go through other places such as Fort Lauderdale, Philadelphia, Columbus, Chicago, New Orleans, Houston, Phoenix, San Diego, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
The events will include activities such as professional photographers taking portraits of couples that will be posted on the main website and on their Instagram account @toasttomarriage, using the hashtag #ToastToMarriage.
The events will also feature special guest appearances from notable marriage equality supporters all over, and a portion of drinks proceeds will be donated to Freedom to Marry's organization benefits.
SKYY Vodka has also created a signature cocktail titled "Commitmint", in further support and awareness for the event, which will debut at the event and be available nationwide.
This cocktail includes ingredients such as SKYY Vodka, ginger ale, lime juice, angostura bitters and mint leaves. Every "Commitmint" cocktail served this summer will directly benefit towards the "Toast to Marriage" Tour and Freedom to Marry.
