Chicago Pride Fest slated for Saturday, June 21 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday, June 22 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Organizers of Chicago Pride Fest today announced Mya, Betty Who and Amber as additional musical acts for this year's festival, which is returning to Boystown for the 12th year June 21-22, the weekend before the city's annual Pride Parade.
Slated to take the stage on Saturday, June 21 is Australian singer-songwriter Betty Who, and Amber, best known for her hits "This Is Your Night," "If You Could Read My Mind," and "Sexual (Li Da Di)". Grammy Award winning R&B singer Mya will perform on Sunday, June 22.
Wednesday's announcement follows another musical surprise for Chicago Pride Fest. ChicagoPride.com reported Feb. 20 that Alex Newell, an actor and singer best known for his role as Wade "Unique" Adams on Glee, is officially slated to take the Pride Fest stage on Sunday, June 22.
Noting that some of the usual headlining spots of the festival appear to still be open, a source told ChicagoPride.com another major announcement is expected soon.
