Rap duo Macklemore & Ryan Lewis this week released a video closely tied to their gay marriage anthem
Same Love for USA Network's Character Unite campaign.
The 40-second video comes less than a week after the duo's Grammys performance of the track was widely cheered (
and jeered) for including the mass wedding of 33 gay and straight couples officiated by Queen Latifah.
The network explains that its campaign is "aimed at combating hate and discrimination in all its forms."
In the PSA, everyday people and
White Collar star Matt Bomer declare that they won't stand for homophobia, racism, violence, discrimination, hate, bullying, sexism and unequal rights.
"Join the movement and share what you won't stand for," Macklemore says.
