Celebrating its fourth year since debuting the strategic alliance between ChicagoPride.com and QChicago.com on June 23, 2003, GOPride Corporation announces the re-launch of ChicagoPride.com, the number one online resource for Chicago's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community.
The new website, which includes fresh features and enhanced opportunities to meet new people, is now available through www.ChicagoPride.com.
"With this latest version of our site, we hope to create the definitive destination for all things gay in Chicago," said R. Matthew Inawat, president. "In addition to the content and information that visitors find on the Web site, we wanted to give our visitors a way to engage themselves within the social experience of our community."
As part of the re-launch, ChicagoPride.com focuses more on social networking, with the all new "MyPride" feature and popular MatchMaker personals, featured more prominently on the site. ChicagoPride.com members are now able to create a unique user profile through "MyPride," where members can manage their profile and settings, add friends, and create a blog. The MatchMaker personals, first introduced in 2000, has grown to become the most popular free online dating service for Chicago's LGBT market.
To further create a better online experience for the individual user, ChicagoPride.com members are also able to search and personalize the events calendar and business directory .
