Chicago, IL -
Campus Pride LGBT-Friendly College Fair program returns to the Chicago area for 2013. In partnership with Roosevelt University, the Midwest regional event will take place on Saturday, Oct. 5, 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Fainman and Congress Lounges, located on the second floor of the Auditorium building on Roosevelt University's campus, at 430 S. Michigan Avenue.
More than 30 colleges and universities from across the country will be present to speak with area LGBTQIA and ally students. This event is open to the public and free to all students and families who wish to attend.
Many of the institutions that will be in attendance are listed on the Campus Pride Index, the nation's only benchmarking tool measuring the LGBT-friendliness of colleges and universities. The index can be accessed here: www.campusprideindex.org.
Post-secondary institutions interested in registering for a table for the fair can do so online: www.campuspride.org/collegefair.
