Queen Latifah says she won't address her personal life in her upcoming syndicated talk show, The Queen Latifah Show.

In a cover story for The Hollywood Reporter, Latifah, 43, said that there are some parts of herself that she is not willing to share with her fans.

"Specifically, she is not prepared to talk about her sexuality, which has been the topic of much debate," the magazine reported.

"I don't feel the need to discuss my private life on this show or any other show," Latifah said. "There's the part of my life that the public and I share together. And there's the part that's mine to keep to myself. And that's mine. For me."

Last year, Latifah shot down rumors that she was signaling that she's gay when she performed at Long Beach Gay Pride. During her May 19 performance, Latifah told the mostly gay crowd that she was happy to be in the presence of "her people" and "I've been waiting to do this for a long time."

"That definitely wasn't the case," she later told a reporter. "I've never dealt with the question of my personal life in public. It's just not gonna happen."

The Queen Latifah Show premieres September 16.
