Chicago Force advances to National Championship Game

The Chicago Force won its second consecutive Women's Football Alliance (WFA) National Conference title Saturday night beating the Boston Militia 46-27.
The Force moves to 11-0 and now travels to San Diego for a berth in the WFA championship game against the Dallas Diamonds or Central California War Angels. The game will air on ESPN and be played Sat., Aug. 3.
"This is amazing," Chicago two-way star Darcy Leslie told Windy City Times Saturday after the game in Evanston. "I am so proud, so relieved that we won; it's a great feeling."
The Force beat the Atlanta Phoenix (9-1) in the National Conference semifinals 84-0 last Saturday night.
