Chicago, IL - News of disenfranchisement was brought to the attention of the Logo cable network's popular reality TV personalities, Jacob and Joshua Miller. The LGBT cable network stars of Jacob and Joshua: Nemesis Rising were informed December 20, 2006, that a recent meeting held by their hometown Kalispell, Montana Jehovah's Witnesses chapter had announced their official "disfellowship," or excommunication, from the faith.

"According to Jehovah's Witness doctrine, being 'disfellowshipped' means that we have been found guilty of unrepentant gross misconduct. Our immediate family is to have limited or no contact with us. All other practicing Jehovah's Witnesses around the world are to never speak with us again," the Miller brothers say of the decision.

The decision to proscribe the brothers came based on their "homosexuality and involvement in their realty show."

The Miller brothers add, "We find it ironic that a religion whose members are asked to knock on the doors of strangers with a message of acceptance of paradise on Earth will not accept two of its own children for who they really are. Our wish for them is one of tolerance and understanding and we send to them a message of peace and love."

Jacob and Joshua: Nemesis Rising airs Monday nights on Logo, and follows the gay identical twins in Los Angeles trying to become stars in the pop music industry.
