ChicagoPride.com and Gay Chicago photographer Frank Failing was on-hand as Janet Jackson met the media at the Peninsula Hotel Wednesday, her young, energetic look and super-stardom still in tact.

Jackson was in Chicago promoting her latest album which marks the 20 anniversary release of her album "Control" and her domination of the music charts in '80s.

The new album was originally titled "20 Years Old," but was changed to "20 Y.O." at the suggestion of several fans participating in the album cover design contest on Yahoo! Music. After liking a number of designs that read "20 Y.O.," instead of "20 Years Old," the 40-year-old singer decided to make the switch.

"20 Y.O." will be released in late September.
