Chicago, IL -
Saturday, November 24, 2012 is Small Business Saturday, a day created to help small businesses gain exposure during the busy holiday season.
Sandwiched between Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Small Business Saturday is an opportunity for local retailers to get a piece of the action during the biggest shopping weekend of the year.
Small Business Saturday was started in 2010 by American Express. Customers who register their American Express card with the SBS program will also receive $25 back when they spend more than $25 at one of the registered SBS businesses.
Last year, 100 million people nationwide participated in Small Business Saturday by shopping at locally owned stores to help boost the economy and their communities.
You can find more information on special sales and participating stores by visiting
