Steve Kmetko Named as New Anchor on Q Television Network

Q Television Network, America's groundbreaking network for gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgendered individuals (GLBT), has announced that Steve Kmetko has been tapped to anchor the revamped network news program QTN World News with Steve Kmetko. QTN World News with Steve Kmetko began airing daily at 7:00pm EST/4:00pm PST on January 3rd.
Kmetko, a veteran television personality, was with KCBS in Los Angeles for over 11 years and appeared frequently as a CBS This Morning entertainment reporter. Kmetko is widely known as the former co-anchor of E! News Daily, E! News Weekend and E!'s correspondent covering the Academy Awards and Golden Globes.
"Q Television is in the unique position of providing its audience with a time and place to find its gay news on a daily basis. It's not about waiting a week or a month for a magazine to be delivered or digging through the newspaper to find one small article buried far from the front pages. No other news outlet, no other television network is doing what we're doing and that's really exciting," said Kmetko.
