"Change Begins With Me" is an inspirational anthem with a resounding message of courage and self-acceptance

Chicago, IL - Broadway veteran, songwriter, Billboard dance sensation and 2002 People Magazine's "Hottest Bachelor" Matt Zarley released his latest music video, "Change Begins With Me", an inspirational anthem with a resounding message of courage and self-acceptance.

"Change Begins With Me" was produced by Zarley's long time producer and Grammy winner, Zulla, and also features the acclaimed Broadway Inspirational Voices. The track is Zarley's heartfelt anthem about making a difference in his own life and, thus hopefully making a difference in others.

In an interview with ChicagoPride.com this spring, Zarley commented about "Change Begins With Me": "I really love the title track. It's very personal. The choir is ridiculous. I love what that song has to say. It means a lot to me."

Zarley told ChicagoPride.com that the most important life lesson he's learned was "to just be true to yourself."

"I've learned that you can't please everyone. 100% of the public isn't going to like you. There will be those that can't stand you, hate your voice, your music, and you in general. It doesn't matter," he added.

Earlier this summer, Zarley invited his fans to "use their voice to make a change" by submitting their own personal home videos. Zarley personally chose the most moving and creative submissions to become a part of the music video.

Soulful dance remixes of "Change Begins With Me" (7th Heaven Remixes) can also be found on iTunes and Soundcloud.

His most recent album, bearing the name of the track, "Change Begins With Me," has received rave reviews from several LGBT outlets: "A sexy collection of swoon-worthy songs," (The Advocate); "Matt Zarley is our idea of perfect" (Instinct); "Soulful and inspiring" (Out Q on Sirius XM); "Inspirational!" (Washington Blade); "Emotionally charged!" (Homorazzi).

The artist began his career at 12 years old starring in national commercials and, subsequently, his career led him to Broadway where, still just a teenager, he made his Broadway debut. He has appeared in numerous shows including Chicago, A Chorus Line and Cats, and has played the title roles in both Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and The Who's Tommy on Broadway. He has also has the pleasure of performing with Whitney Houston, Vanessa Williams, Brandy and Usher.
