Thanksgiving and the Christmas season are always great fun in Palm Springs (how can you go wrong with plenty of sunshine and swimming pools, when most of the rest of the country is freezing!), and this year there's even more to celebrate (especially if you're a single gay man or woman). The Desert Gay Tourism Guild, a professional association of area LGBT business people involved in tourism, in conjunction with the Palm Springs Bureau of Tourism, is hosting a new Palm Springs event, Gay Singles Weekend - Palm Springs Style!
As the name implies, Gay Singles Weekend - Palm Springs Style! is all about single folks - gay men and gay women who are looking for a great vacation get-away (and the chance to meet other singles) before the rush of the Christmas Season takes over.
The event will take place December 8-11, Thursday through Sunday, and features an exciting schedule of events, including a visit to Palm Springs' VillageFest street fair, shopping, hiking, exclusive group dining events, and more! Activities are varied and plentiful throughout the weekend, with wine tastings, cocktail parties, "Freshen Up" make-overs, seminars on "How To Be The Person You Want To Date" and a whole long list of other opportunities to meet and mingle with other singles.
