Jane Olivor Headlines TPAN's Aware Affair Gala

Chicago Illinois - Singer and recording artist, Jane Olivor will headline Test Positive Aware Network's (TPAN) and Positively Aware Magazine’s annual gala, the AWARE AFFAIR on Saturday, September 10, 2005 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago Hotel Crystal Ballroom. Cocktails, Silent Auction and Raffle will begin at 6 PM, Dinner and Awards Program at 8 PM and Jane Olivor in performance at 9:30 PM.
Hosting the AWARE AFFAIR will be NBC 5's HealthWatch reporter and co-anchor, Nasita Kwan. Ms. Kwan most recently hosted the kick-off ceremonies for the AIDS Ride Chicago this past June also benefiting TPAN.
2005 AWARE AFFAIR Honorees include Amy Maggio receiving the first ever Charles E. Clifton Leadership Award, Kevin Putz receiving the Chris Clason Committed to Living Award and Gay Chicago Magazine receiving the TPAN Visionary Award.
Test Positive Aware Network, now in its 18th year of service to metropolitan Chicago, provides critical treatment education services and emotional peer-led support services to those living with HIV/AIDS. On a national scale, TPAN is the only AIDS service provider in the country that publishes a nationally distributed HIV treatment magazine, Positively Aware.
