AIDS Legal Council of Chicago Names Director of Community Relations

Chicago, IL - Ann Hilton Fisher, Executive Director of AIDS Legal Council of Chicago ("ALCC"), announced the appointment of Kevin Mork as the organization's Director of Community Relations. "We are absolutely delighted to welcome Kevin to our staff as our new Director of Community Relations. His skills and talents are a great fit for ALCC, and his non-profit experience will serve our agency and our clients well."

Mr. Mork's primary responsibilities include fundraising, event coordination, donor development, and grant writing and research. He will also promote and coordinate the over 100 educational trainings the Council provides each year.

Prior to joining ALCC, Mr. Mork was the Development Officer at Equality Illinois and for a number of years was an ESL and Spanish teacher at schools around the world.

Founded in 1987, ALCC preserves, promotes, and protects the legal rights of men, women, and children in the metropolitan Chicago area impacted by HIV. The Council provides direct legal services to people in need, educates the public about HIV-related legal issues, and advocates for social policies that ensure fair treatment for all people affected by HIV/AIDS.
