Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning actor and comedienne Jane Lynch autographed her candid, heartfelt, and often funny memoir, "Happy Accidents" at a special event at Women & Children First Bookstore in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood on Sunday.
The 51-year-old actress, a Chicago-area native who is married to psychologist Lara Embry, is best known for her role as ruthless cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester on the Fox hit series Glee.
The book signing was part of a promotional tour for Lynch's memoir, in which she speaks candidly about coming out gay and her life with partner, Dr. Lara Embry.
Hundreds of people attended Sunday's event.
