Gay Days Tampa Bay Announces Final Schedule

Tampa, FL - Gay Days Tampa Bay will hold its second annual circuit event this Labor Day weekend, September 4-5. The Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel & Marina 700 S. Florida Avenue, Tampa will serve as the official host hotel for this year's festivities. Saturday will be the official Gay Day at The Florida Aquarium. The official shirt color for Gay Day Saturday is blue and visitors to the aquarium are asked to wear blue shirts in a visible show of solidarity and buying power.

Victory Party will be held Saturday night on the deck of the SS American Victory moored in Tampa Bay Harbor. A veteran of WWII, Korea and Vietnam, the 455 ft. victory class ship now serves as a Mariners Memorial & Museum Ship. At the helm, DJ Mike Reeze, a Tampa native whose circuit career has skyrocketed in the past year with recent appearances at Winter Party, Cherry 9 and Nation D.C.. Lighting by Chris Bishop (Club at Firestone) and Five Star. Proceeds benefiting Metropolitan Charities. Sunday brings the annual Gay Day at Busch Gardens where red t-shirts are the tradition. At dusk gather at the Marriott for the annual Tampa Bay Labor Day Fireworks Spectacular and later in the evening Absolution! at The Castle, 2004 N. 16th Street, Tampa. Hop the electric street car in front of the hotel for a brief ride to Tampa's Ybor City Historic District to attend one of the most unique venues in the bay area. From his tower in the mysterious-medieval nightclub, DJ Alexander (L A - San Francisco, Mezzanine, Reload, San Diego Pride) will wrap up a fantastic weekend with a fresh sound that has been taking the California nightclub scene by storm. DJ Alexander is represented by producer/manager, Rohan Bisset. Advance purchase is recommended but tickets will be available at the door. 21 & Up $10.00, 18-20 $12.00.
