Northalsted Market Days, the Midwest's largest outdoor street fest, kicked off Saturday in Chicago's Boystown neighborhood. The two-day festival continues today beginning at 11 a.m.
The 30th annual event opened Saturday to sunshine and mild temperatures, but partly cloudy skies turned to rain for most of the day. Party cloudy skies with highs near 80 degrees is forecast for the today by The Weather Channel.
More than 100,000 people from across the country are expected to visit the festival before it closes tonight.
Todays performers, featured on one of the four entertainment stages, include Frenchie Davis, Lisa Lisa, Tony Hadley of Spandau Ballet, Gloria Gaynor.
Local favorites Chicago Spirit Brigade, Windy City Cowboys and ROTC will perform today at the Belmont Stage.

Another big draw are the food vendors with offerings that promise something for every taste.
Market Days, which spans six city blocks between Belmont Avenue and Addison along Halsted St., is open today from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The stages will be set-up at Belmont Ave., Roscoe, Aldine and Addison.
