New York, NY - TEEN PEOPLE truly has its finger on the pulse of American youth culture with its editorial coverage of stars, style and substance. In its second annual issue, TEEN PEOPLE presents What's Next-- a look at the hottest talent to watch for in the year 2001. Last year's "What's Next" issue featured Britney Spears on the cover as the talent for 2000. Britney is certainly a talent who grew into much success over the course of a year, and TEEN PEOPLE was there to give you her story first.

TEEN PEOPLE celebrates What's Next for 2001 in its December/January issue (on-sale nationwide on November 10). The Backstreet Boys take one cover as the band who's already arrived, and who'll soon be topping the charts (again) when their hotly anticipated album hits stores later in November. On the "flip" cover of TEEN PEOPLE's December/January issue, it's the complete look at the Next talent to watch.
