Los Angeles, CA - Rocker Adam Lambert was on pins and needles Monday waiting for the release of the video for Lady Gaga's gay anthem Born This Way.

"I'm so anxious to see Gaga's Born This Way video 2m!!" he tweeted to his nearly 900,000 followers just minutes before the video's release.

Born This Way is the title single from Lady Gaga's second studio album to be released in May.

Before the song's February 11 release, celebrity blogger Perez Hilton told MTV News that the song was "gay-in-your-face gay."

In a cover story for the March issue of Vogue, Lady Gaga said, "I wrote [Born This Way] in 10 [expletive] minutes. And it is a completely magical song. And after I wrote it, the gates just opened, and the songs kept coming. It was like an immaculate conception."

According to Vogue, the song is "an unbelievably great dance song, destined to be the anthem of every gay-pride event for the next 100 years."
The video, however, doesn't linger on gay themes much.

After its release, Lambert tweeted: "Wow new Gaga video is wild and weird! I love the super 60's psychedelic intro. Like Barbarella meets Alien."
