Perez Hilton and Adam Lambert top most-searched list in 2010

As everyone's looking back at what happened over the last 11 months, the Advocate has compiled a list of the most-searched gay celebrities on the Internet.
Out-celebrity blogger Perez Hilton was the most-searched gay celebrity on Google in 2010.
"In a tight race for first with Adam Lambert, Perez Hilton takes the cake," writes the magazine. "2010 has been a big year for Hilton, launching three new blogs, CocoPerez, FitPerez and TeddyHilton all focused on a more specific market (fashion, fitness & health, and pets). Between the growth of his company, his pledge to stop bullying on Ellen, and revealing Miley's partying ways, Perez Hilton has landed himself 2010's most Googled gay."
Hilton was followed by American Idol Adam Lambert (2) who beat out Ellen DeGeneres (3) and Glee stars Jane Lynch (11), Chris Colfer (17) and Jonathan Groff (18).
The other gay celebrities in top ten are: singers Elton John (4) and Ricky Martin (5), fashion icon Marc Jacobs (6), clothing designer Alexander McQueen (7), MSNBC host Rachel Maddow (8), Antoine Dodson (9) and actor Neil Patrick Harris (10).
