As one of Hollywood's hottest DJs by night, and a highly accomplished 2nd degree black belt karate instructor by day, Kimberly S. simply kicks ass. Many days, she can be found honing her skills at her martial arts studio on the famed Sunset Strip. But nowadays it's after dark that Kimberly shines. She is currently the resident DJ at both the state-of-the-art FACTORY nightclub and GIRL BAR in Los Angeles, spinning the hottest sounds for thousands of loyal fans (and some of Hollywood's hippest celebrities) on a nightly basis.

The S stands for SEXY…
A southern California area native, Kimberly moved to Los Angeles in 1988, where she began her DJ career. After quickly mastering the craft of mixing music, she began drawing packed crowds and long lines at The Palms in West Hollywood, as its resident DJ for eight years. From there, Kimberly became one of the most sought after DJs in the LA area, constantly in demand at special events, high profile parties, and eventually landed a dual residency at two of the city's hottest venues, The Factory and Girl Bar. In true Hollywood style however, such notoriety proved to be a classic prequel for even greater things that lay ahead.

The S stands for SMART…
With her finger always on the pulse of her audiences, Kimberly has established herself as a cutting-edge visionary. Her vast musical knowledge can be attributed to her first-hand exposure to the hottest sounds as a former manager and buyer for retail music chains for 13 years. Mixing soulful house, pulsing tribal beats, trance and vocal club anthems (an experience she regards as deeply spiritual), Kimberly went from being a local sensation, to a two-year meteoric rise to stardom on the international nightclub and gay party circuit.

In addition to dual residencies at The Factory and Girl Bar/LA, Kimberly also regularly appears at some of Hollywood's elite movie premiere parties and is in constant demand to spin at the hottest dance events in cities such as Seattle, Atlanta, Denver, Chicago, Vancouver BC, San Francisco, New Orleans, Pensacola, Fire Island, Houston, Dallas, San Diego, Santa Fe, St. Louis, New York and Miami. Her landmark performances at Sanker's White Party Palm Springs (2000-2003); Dinah Shore Weekend (1999-2003); New Orleans' Mardi Gras, Southern Decadence & Halloween; Sanker's Classic Tea; The Chrome Party's sold-out Closing Party (2002); Gus Present’s Sundance, Russian River Party (2003); Sanker’s One Mighty Party, Gay Days Orlando (2003); and Altitude Eleven’s Mountaintop Tea, Whistler BC (2003); have earned Kimberly a solid reputation for consistency and creativity - making her a sure-fire draw at any club or event where she appears. Upcoming Major Events for 2004 so far include: Fireball Tea dance, Chicago; White Party Palm Springs Sunset Tea; X-Demente, Rio; and more to come.

The S stands for SLAMMING…
Without skipping a beat, Kimberly has also attracted the attention of some of the music industry's hottest dance labels and garnered national media exposure. Her chart topping, debut mixed CD "The Factory presents DJ Kimberly S. Rapture" is available nationwide. THE ADVOCATE Magazine also listed Kimberly on its 2001 "Innovators" list of trendsetters in the gay and lesbian community. Kimberly has also appeared the cover of such prominent publications as THE WIRE/South Beach; DESERT POST WEEKLY/Palm Springs; Q (TWN)/Ft. Lauderdale; ECHO Magazine/Phoenix and many others. Showing no bounds to her endless talent and popularity, Kimberly made her network TV debut in fall of 2002 portraying a popular club DJ on the hit WB series "Charmed." She was also selected as a celebrity spokes model for John Paul Mitchell Systems, appearing in a national color photo spread for the popular hair care line.

Whether she's pumping out the hits for a packed dance floor, gracing the cover of a magazine, or delivering a razor-sharp roundhouse kick, fans everywhere agree that Kimberly S. is a knockout in every sense of the word.
