ChicagoPride.com announces website redesign and anniversary celebration

Chicago, IL - ChicagoPride.com, the most visited online resource for Chicago's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community celebrates its eighth anniversary as the largest web-based resource of local content. The celebration, which coincides with Chicago's official Pride Parade weekend, will feature the unveiling of a major redesign of the website.

"We are proud of the content and ambitious features that we've added throughout the years," said R. Matthew Inawat, president. "With our new release, ChicagoPride.com will set a higher standard by offering new features and incentives to those who depend on us for daily news, events and photo coverage and to visitors who browse us to help them explore the richness of Chicago's diverse LGBT community."

The revamped site will focus on delivering an enriching online experience and offer innovative ways for interaction. ChicagoPride.com will continue to expand national and regional news coverage, editorials, entertainment news and columns, in addition to helping people discover content from our distribution partners including Grab Magazine, Nightspots, On Top Magazine and the Windy City Times.

ChicagoPride.com will become the model for additional LGBT websites scheduled to launch nationwide later this year. These websites will mark the official launch of the GoPride.com Network, an online network of city websites that will foster the same sense of community found in the successful ChicagoPride.com brand.

In celebration of Pride Month and the website's eighth anniversary, ChicagoPride.com will host an anniversary party at Roscoe's, 3356 N. Halsted, on Thursday, June 24th from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Miss Foozie will host the evening with a special appearance by Ronnie Kroell from Bravo's "Make Me a Supermodel." Kroell will be the featured cover model in the June issue of
Playgirl magazine.

"We look forward to celebrating the site's anniversary as it marks another milestone in our commitment to pride in our community," said Inawat.
