Sunday Funday on the Sidetrack Patio

Sunday Funday this summer was, well, way different from any we've ever experienced.

We didn't even get Sunday Showtunes at Sidetrack.

But at least Sidetrack delivered Showtunes on Friday afternoons and Monday evenings.

“We got to open the weeks before what would have been PrideFest, and while the summer has been nothing normal, it's been nice to see regulars, friends and most of all the staff again,” said Sidetrack general manager Brad Balof, who noted that the popular Boystown bar also featured Trivia on Tuesdays, which sometimes is and was based on Showtunes. Sidetrack has been limited to about 100 guests, depending on the amount of people at each table in its two open areas – the courtyard near the entrance and the upstairs area.

“We love seeing you,” Balof said. “Be sure to wear your mask, keep your distance in line or outside and thank-you for following all our guidelines, including staying seated at your table during your visit. Your safety is our priority.”

Balof said one of the summer's highlights certainly was the Drag March for Change, which he tagged as a “very inspirational and motivating moment.”
