Chicago Pride Fest showcases eclectic line-up

Chicago, IL - Labeled on its website as a "non-stop early summer party," Chicago Pride Fest, the city's two-day gay and lesbian street festival, makes its return June 25-26 on the weekend of the 41st annual Chicago Pride Parade.

Now in it's eighth year, the street fest will showcase a large assortment of vendors, arts, food and an eclectic line-up of entertainment.

Feature performers for the festivals include Thea Austin, Tiffany, Taylor Dayne, Amber, Frenchie Davis, Sophia May and Inaya Day.

Other crowd favorites who will be performing include the Chicago Spirit Brigade, the Righteously Outrageous Twirling Corps, The Joans, Rock Candy, Windy City Cowboys, Wedding Banned and Sixteen Candles.

A pet parade with a noon-time kickoff on Saturday, June 26 will once again be hosted by beloved Chicago entertainer Miss Foozie.

Chicago Pride Fest is hosted by the Northalsted Business Alliance, the same group behind the Northalsted Market Days festival which takes place the weekend of August 7-8, 2010.
