With DJ Cindel spinning Feb. 16 at House Collective, the Sunday night dance party from Standard House Company and Hydrate Nightclub delivered "the best one yet," said DJ Ethan Cole, who spearheads the monthly event.

"It was absolutely amazing," Cole said.

The February House Collective drew more than 300 attendees.

"The highlight of the night was looking out from the (DJ) booth and seeing the dance floor full, like it was a Saturday night," Cole said. "The energy was at 100 (percent) the entire night.

"The overall positive feeling of the night stood out to me. I had so many friends and people I didn't know come up to me and say this is their favorite night to come out."

Cole added: "House Collective just keeps getting better and better. We must be doing something right because the word is definitely getting out."

Cole said Cindel was "amazing" at House Collective. "He took everyone on a journey from when he went on to when he finished. Everyone absolutely loved it.

"I noticed a lot of new faces come out. People you normally wouldn't see at Hydrate – not just on Sunday, but on any night of the week. This tells me we are going in the right direction and the word is getting out."

The next House Collective is Sunday night, March 15, with DJs BLU 9, Ron Carroll, and Cole.

"People who have not yet experienced House Collective should definitely come out ... it's like nothing that's in Boystown on the weekend," Cole said. "The energy at House Collective is almost euphoric."
