Update: Macy Gray replaces Todrick Hall in Sunday's line-up for Northalsted Market Days. Hall, who had a last minute conflict, promises to return next year. Gray joins Daya and Icona Pop at the Bud Light Stage at Addison on Sunday, Aug. 11. The rest of the festival schedule remains the same.
The party continues to grow as the organizers for Northalsted Market Days has announced singer, songwriter, dancer, actor, choreographer, producer and social media influencer Todrick Hall will join an already incredible entertainment lineup for this year's two-day street festival.
Hall most recently starred in Taylor Swift's video "You Need to Calm Down." The song is an anthem for the LGBTQ community, encouraging people to focus more on minding their own business.
The music video takes place in a trailer park of pastel rainbows and includes celebrity cameos from the Fab 5 to Adam Rippon, Haley Kiyoko, RuPaul, Billy Porter, Ellen DeGeneres, and Laverne Cox.
"Thanks for allowing me to bring my besties to the party," Hall wrote on Instagram.
Hall co-executive-produced the video with Swift.
Organizers previously announced Sheila E., Jake Shears Deborah Cox, Icona Pop, and Steve Grand among this year's headliners.
Hall will perform at the Bud Light Stage (Halsted and Brompton) on Sunday, August 11 at 4 p.m. (Full entertainment schedule below)
"We can't wait to welcome locals and visitors alike to join us for an unforgettable weekend in Boystown," said Northalsted Business Alliance Executive Director Kevin Richards.
The 38th annual Northalsted Market Days takes place on Aug. 10-11 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. The event runs down Halsted Street from Belmont to Addison. A $10 suggested donation is requested at the entrance.
