Excitement mounts for first-ever Pride In The Park Chicago, featuring Iggy Azalea and Steve Aoki

Set times announced for Saturday's Pride In The Park entertainment
Two-time Grammy-nominated producer/DJ Steve Aoki will be on-stage at 6:30 p.m, followed by Tamar Braxton at 8 p.m, in the entertainment scheduled released by event organizers.
Miss DJ Meg kicks off the festivities at 1 p.m, followed by Todrick Hall (1:45 p.m.) and Coco Montrese (2:30 p.m.).
The hosts for Pride In The Park Chicago will be a who's who from the drag scene, including Elektra Del Rio, T-Rex, Veronica Pop, Dida Ritz, Mimi Marks and Fox E. Kim, among others.
General admission tickets are available at $69.54, which includes service and facility fees. There also are a limited number of VIP tickets available for $152.11 (with fees), which include a special entrance, premium viewing front-of-stage barricaded area, VIP access bars and premium bathrooms.
A portion of tickets processed will benefit the Center on Halsted in Chicago's Boystown neighborhood.
Pride In The Park will feature food from DineAmic Group's Bar Siena, Public House, and Bombo Bar – some of Chicago's trendiest restaurants.
About 15,000 are expected to attend.
"Holding (Pride in the Park) in Grant Park puts the LGBT community front and center," said Chicagoan Dusty Carpenter, the president of Dreambrite, which has spent about two years planning and producing Pride in the Park Chicago.
The event also features pop icon Taylor Dane; Kathy Sledge, known for her hit "We Are Family;" plus LGBTQ pop artist Gia Woods, and others.
Chicago's own Shea Coulee and rapper KC Ortiz also will be spotlighted at the event, which is a perfect, full-day kickoff to the 50th annaul Chicago Pride Parade on Sunday.
