Drag worship services at Urban Village Church, Feb. 17

Chicago, IL - Both locations of Urban Village Church (UVC)—at 1407 E. 60th St. and 1543 W. Division St. (Chopin Theater)—will hold drag services on Sunday, Feb. 17, at 10:30 a.m.

The South Side site will feature a service with sermon featuring drag performers, plus a drag Bible story. The Wicker Park site will have a drag worship service.

UVC is hosting this event as the third of its four-part sermon series on gender identity, in which the church seeks to explore how gender is constructed, performed and enforced in both the Bible and Western society. Visit UrbanVillageChurch.org for more information.
