Chicago, IL -
Showcasing diversity and recognizing the achievements and contributions of Chicago and the Midwest’s gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community is the theme of “Heartland Pride Jubilee” a 10-day Pride festival coordinated by the Hearts Foundation.
The centerpiece of the week’s activities is “The Pride Reception” at the W Chicago Lakeshore Hotel on Thursday, June 26.
“The jubilee represents the expanded mission of The Hearts Foundation,” explains Allen Lungo, board president. “In addition to fundraising, we are creating cooperative partnerships by and for our community in which we can share our resources and energies for the collective good. All of the participants are among our beneficiaries, sponsors, and friends and we are asking the larger LGBT community to support them. ”
