New York City -
Chart-topping artist Kimberley Locke's latest EP is set to hit dance floors across the nation this summer. Featuring four tracks and an alternate remix version in the works, "Four For The Floor" promises to deliver a jolt of high energy dance beats paired with Locke's trademark powerful vocals.
Locke is the most charted American Idol participant in the Dance and Adult Contemporary genres, having achieved four #1 singles on the Dance charts and seven Top-10 singles on the Adult Contemporary charts. She is also the only American Idol alum on Billboard's Top 50 Dance Songs of the Decade list and has had two albums on the Billboard Hot 200.
The EP will be released through her new company I AM Entertainment on July 19, 2011 and the industry can look forward to the official release of the single "Finally Free" at Promo Only's exclusive 2011 Summer Sessions Artist Showcase sponsored by Denon and Chauvet at the House of Blues in Atlantic City on August 9, presented by Promo Only's Cary Vance. Locke will be co-hosting the event with Blake Lewis and Traci Lords and a complete lineup of performers will be announced in the coming weeks.
Talent from across the entertainment industry has come together to contribute to Kimberley's latest project-–including fellow American Idol alumni Ace Young who co-wrote and co-produced many of the tracks along with renowned photographers Guy Guido who shot cover artwork for the EP and Walid Azami (Usher, Eve) who will direct her upcoming music video filming on July 28, in Los Angeles, CA.
