The newly renovated Hyatt Centric Chicago O'Hare makes a perfect getaway in the Rosemont, Illinois area. Located at 6350 North River Road and only two miles away from the airport, this Hyatt property contains all of the perks one can expect from this iconic brand of hotels.
The 30 million dollars paid off well for the Hyatt Hotels Corporation, which is headquartered in the Windy City.
The Rosemont stop is modern, luxurious and in pristine condition. The lobby has a spacious, open and inviting feel to it as guests enter through the revolving doors. There's free parking and regular shuttles for easy transportation needs.
The staff is professional and friendly at check-in while providing a smooth service for weary travelers. This company knows how ruff it can be traveling with pets and they accommodate furry family members for a fee. The venue donates 25% of its pet fee to Bark4Compassion, a non-profit organization that assists animals in need. Pet-friendly stays include bowls, treats and a comfy cushion for sleeping. A door hanger is also included, which alerts housecleaning when it's best to enter and avoid surprises.
There are 204 rooms with some suites consisting of up to 1,460 square feet of space to stretch out in. The presidential suite has a kitchenette, two bathrooms, one with a soaking tub. The beds are comfortable with multiple pillows placed on a pillow-top mattress.
Modern paintings adorn the walls and sitting areas are maximized with padded benches.
BeeKind bath products and Angel Soft toiletries can be found in the brightly lit bathrooms.
The Gettys Group did a stellar job on the interior design and branding the onsite Cima signature restaurant, complete with a 50-seat patio. The culinary team serves up Mediterranean-inspired cuisine daily and executive chef Gee Cuyugan presented a hosted collaboration dinner on September 16 with much fanfare. Chef Kevin Hickey from The Duck Inn and chef Sarah Stegner of the Prairie Grass Cafe joined Gee to create a five-course dinner. Beverage director Rohit Nambiar paired the dishes with wine and a Maine Peaky-Toe Crab Cake was served at an action station as an appetizer. The dinner was a feast for the senses with cashew humus and pan-seared branzino. The dry-aged duck steak was tender and a torched orange pavlova topped it off.
Cima also whips up a top-notch breakfast with both small and large plates to accommodate any appetite. The continental breakfast offers even more options and is served from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. each day.
For those on the go with no time to sit down the Bistro Market is conveniently located near the front door. The market offers products from local companies such as Dark Matter Coffee and Molly's Cupcakes.
As one exits, high rollers will notice Rivers Casino across the street and the hotel is a convenient five-minute drive from O'Hare International Airport when it's time to fly.
