The 2023 Discover Boating Chicago Boat Show returns to McCormick Place, 2301 S. King Drive, from January 11-15, 2023. Watercraft explorers can embark on an adventure to see what this expo has to offer.
Originally titled The Progressive Insurance Chicago Boat Show, the show was postponed until this time because of COVID challenges and supply chain interruptions.
The biggest boat show to blow through the Windy City has remained popular over the years thanks to an impressive amount of vessels displayed. Bring your best socks as shoe removal is required for most of these crafts.
There were several features to see and live DJ sets by @DreaJay and MikeP kept the party hopping. The #BoatAppetit main stage made room for mixologists and celebrity chefs to present their talents to the crowds.
Who are you calling a dinghy? Progressive characters and wheels of fortune allowed patrons to be entertained and win prizes.
Sand sculpting and pirate ships had options for children to play and keep busy during a long day with their families.
The FlowRider pop-up had professional wakeboards riding the waves and they were open to teaching novices some new skills if desired.
After a three-year hiatus, this boat show returned to glory and could stand for even more expansion in 2024.
