Pete's Tiki Tiki held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on August 17, 2022, along with a festive party to kick off the grand opening of the new space at 5510 Park Place in Rosemont, Illinois.

The Polynesian-themed party began with a bang as the mayor of Rosemont was on the premises to greet guests and cut the ribbon in front of the crowd. A large wooden tiki gave an opportunity to take personal photographs as people entered and a massively tall hula girl statue stood behind that for even more photo fun.

Luckily the weather was mild that evening and patrons could enjoy the patio while sipping on rum drinks. Hula dancers and a live band brightened up the atmosphere as attendees enjoyed a grilled pig food station provided by Sweet Baby Ray's company.

The Hard Truth Distilling Co. visited the establishment all the way from Indiana to hand out promotional items and mingle with guests.

The beach party continued indoors as skilled bartenders served up concoctions such as the Planter's Punch Jamaican rum-inspired drink and the Painkiller made with Pusser's Gunpowder Proof rum. The decor conveyed a relaxed vibe to the atmosphere making Pete's Tiki Tiki the new hotspot to unwind after a long day at work.
