With over 50,000 square feet of space, Time Out Market Chicago has plenty of room to present delicious food and sensational drinks to visitors. The establishment was shut down because of the pandemic and recently opened back up to throngs of people in the West Loop.

Located at 916 W. Fulton Market, this massive collaboration between restaurants truly has something for everyone.

Two vendors, Bill Kim Ramen Bar and Bad Bach Chocolate just opened in July, bringing unique, new things to the table.

Chef Bill Kim has created a powerful menu with solid options such as the al pastor smoked pork ramen dish with shishito peppers, pineapple and egg. This spicy treat really hit the spot, but can be a little messy, so wear a bib!

Pastry chef Jared Bacheller brings hand crafted chocolate to Bad Bach and be glad he did. While it is not cheap, if you are looking for a bonbon bite packed with flavor, then look no further. The small batch chocolate mixed with caramel was quite satisfying after dinner. Looking for a gift? The presentation and packaging makes Bad Bach the perfect stop to pick something up for a special occasion.

For burgers head to Mini Mott, who pairs the main dishes with sweet potato fries and plenty of toppings. Pisolino serves a taste of Italy thanks to chef James De Marte and those southern family recipes are brought to the Market, thanks to Cleo's Southern Cuisine.

After dinner, wind down at Bittersweet with s'mores cupcakes and a range of coffee offerings. Shawn Michelle's has also has dessert if patrons are still hungry. The cookies and cream on a rainbow cone was just what the doctor ordered the time I visited.

After trying Time Out Market Miami recently, the Chicago location had an advantage in many ways. The multiple floors led to lots of exploring and the rooftop bar just couldn't be beat with the surrounding views and atmosphere. The bartenders have that summer cocktail to suit any taste.

Miami has drag queen bingo nights and Chicago has themed painting parties, so you be the judge of what is better. The overall strong concept of the market is what works no matter what. A beautiful, modern built-out venue promotes community and spotlights the variety that the Windy City offers guests. Bring friends, a date or just dine solo at the communal tables, both indoor and out. Time Out Market Chicago is a wonderful addition to the neighborhood and happy to serve everyone now that it has finally reopened.
