GiGi's Playhouse Down Syndrome Achievement Centers presented its largest fundraiser of the year on Feb. 2 at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel. Over 900 guests packed the venue along with handsome retired professional football players, Miss Illinois and musical guest Seventh Heaven.

Actress Vivica A. Fox stopped to talk on the red carpet beforehand. "I love being involved with this community."

Fox is currently hosting a talk show called Face the Truth executive produced by Dr. Phil. She said, "The goal of my show is to help people live their perfect lives so this was a perfect marriage for me. We have to let these kids know we suppport them a hundred percent. I wanted to bring awareness, especially for young kids with Down Syndrome. I want them to be happy and lead productive lives. We take that for granted. They struggle to get job placement and just be accepted in the world."

The talented hostess and emcee for the evening wore Tory Burch and mentioned that she's a big supporter for the LGBT community.

The i have a Voice Gala continued with a delicious dinner, a live auction and several songs sang by diva Taylor Dayne. Many of the guests joined her onstage to dance along to hits like "Tell It to My Heart" and "Love Will Lead You Back."

Proceeds from the event supported went to support classes and career training for children and adults affected by Downs syndrome.
