Broken English brings brunch to Lincoln Avenue

Located on the corner at 2576 N Lincoln Avenue Broken English is breaking out a new brunch.

Upon entering the establishment it has a noticeable fun atmosphere. The rooms are quite expansive with a private party backroom that can be booked year round.

The decor ranges from a hanging bicycle to string lights.

There is a small patio that the main room opens up into.

Chef Frank Valdez offers a variety of Latin styled offerings such as the chicken and egg taco and traditional chilaquiles. The pollo y waffle was served with chorizo gravy over a churro waffle.

There are several burritos to choose from. El burro ranchero contains eggs, carne asada, chihuahua cheese, and guacamole, all of my favorite things.

The Ron Swanson made the perfect bloody Mary to wash it all down. The salt and pepper rim along with the garnish of bacon worked well together.

Every Tuesday is $2 tacos so definitely something to return for, being quite the bargain.

The brunch runs on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Call 312-929-0045 or visit www.BrokenEnglishLincolnPark.com for more information today.
