The National Confectioners Associaton brought the Sweets & Snacks Expo back to McCormick Place in Chicago the weekend of May 23. With over 750 exhibitors and 17,000 attendees from around 90 countries this expo is massive.

There were plenty of new vendors to sample this year. Jelly Belly lollipops and Hawaiian Punch candy jellies were among them.

Gold Label Chocolates brought by the Albanese Confectionary were impressive and rich looking.

There was lots of sour to go with the sweet and left many crying.

Pastacios and almonds had some healthy options for some and the beef jerky man was fun to grab off a pack from.

Hersheys always has lots to sample with a massive set up. Their ice cream is always a place to stop and try. Sea salt caramel continues to be a hot item.

As every with every year it is easy to be overwhelmed. Luckily the website sweetsandsnacks.com can help attendees plan out their trip for next year.
