Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, Illinois has a new ride to celebrate the summer of 2017. The Joker is a free fly coaster that is truly something different for the amusement park.

Smartly positioned next to Batman: The Ride this area is quickly cashing in on the populairty of comic books. The DC merchandise is everywhere ready for fans to buy and the box office will be on fire with superhero movies coming out all year.

The unique part of this 12 story ride is depending on where you sit and the weight of other passengers. This will continually effect the experience during multiple rides. There are two sides to the rollercoaster with one side having more movement. Expect long lines as enthusiasts will be waiitng to try this out for the summer.

The view is spectacular with a breathtaking way to see the property as the coast climbs a 90 degree hill. Then be ready to fall backwards and spin multiple times. The coaster follows a track with some stomach churning drops. It ends pretty quickly but overall it's worth the wait for thrill seekers.

When is the Wonder Woman invisible plane ride coming? Now that would be a view to see!

Visit www.sixflags.com/greatamerica for park hours and details about tickets today. Out in the Park will be on September 9. Let's pray for rainbows and hope the weather holds out this year!
