Living the Luxe Life

LuxeHome CHILL has grown into the one of the best fundraising events in the city. The entire first floor of the Merchandise Mart fills up with wine and samples of the best restaurants in Chicago.

This benefit for The Lynn Sage Foundation, Saturday Place, and the Respiratory Health Association raised over $225,000 this year in just one night.

The night is such a win win for the organizations and venue as many are introduced to the beautiful showrooms in the first floor of the Merchandise Mart.

This was also a chance for donors to try food from a multitude of restaurants. While too many to name, some standouts were Cafe Spiaggia, Nick's Fishmarket, and Siena Tavern.

Latin offereings like Carnivale and Milagro tequila were grouped in one room with a fun mariachi band playing.

Desserts took the cake with Eli's Cheesecake, and Firecakes. A large auction and bottles of wine brought in more money for the worth causes.

Maybe in 2017 the night could be extended to even later as party guests did not want to go home.
