Celebrities in the City

Chicago continues to be a place to spot celebrities. Oprah Winfrey leaving the Windy City may have slowed things down a bit but appearances and concerts still bring the larger than life personalities to town.

Television and movie filming definitely helps with shows such as Empire, and the Chicago drama series.

Marlyne Barrett ( Nurse Maggie Lockwood) and Rachel DiPillo (Dr. Sarah Reese) from Chicago Med recently made an appearance at Studio Xfinity on Weed Street to a line of fans.

Cuvee at 308 W. Erie Street has become a regular place to see celebrities.

Singer Nick Jonas performed with Demi Lovato on the Future Now Tour then came to the club. He sang a few songs and had a blast. It was small and intimate as opposed to seeing him in a huge arena. He talked on the microphone noting how happy he is for the success of his brother in DNCE before the new song played.

Snoop Dogg also rolled up into Cuvee with his posse. He playes a few tunes as guest DJ. I noticed one fan grabbed him, which he did not appreciate. Don't mess with the Doggfather!

After Diddy's recent Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour he took to a night out at Room Seven on Division Street. French Montana came along for the ride with no Iggy Azalea in sight. They danced and drank Ciroc Vodka. French seemed friendly and engaging but Diddy stayed on his phone mostly. Maybe he was doing early morning business dealings since he is always working.
