Georgia peach Dax ExclamationPoint has sashayed and flown away from the RuPaul's Drag Race season eight but that is not holding her down. This costume queen returns to Chicago for C2E2, the comic convention, hosting a special event at Metro on Friday March 18. The geeks come out at night and Dax will be storming up a good time.

We talked a bit about it on the red carpet before the new Drag Race took off.

JN: (Jerry Nunn) Hi, Dax. You are wearing an amazing outifit and flew in a storm to get here.

DE: (Dax ExclamationPoint) Sorry about that guys, my bad!

JN: You whipped it up.

DE: And it stopped.

JN: Are you excited about the new X-men movie?

DE: I'm very excited about it. I cannot wait to see how they do everything. I have seen every single one of them made. Whether it is good or bad, I am going to see it.

JN: I heard you coming back to perform again here at a C2E2 event.

DE: I am. I will be here all weekend long. I am planning on bringing many costumes.

JN: Supergirl will be the convention.

DE: That show is amazing. I went to college with a guy that worked on that show. My friend Chris is part of their creative team. I was like, "Can she have a drag queen best friend?" That should be a thing!

JN: They could write you in.

DE: I know, right?

JN: I went to school with Lex Luthor from Smallville. There you go, it is all who you are roommates with in school.

DE: Always have roommates.

JN: Superhero roommates! Do you have a favorite comic book character?

DE: Well, it will always be Storm.

JN: Did you feel like on RuPaul's Drag Race that you had to represent the costume aspect of it?

DE: Yes and no. On the show it was tricky. There are contracts and Disney owned stuff so I couldn't do the actual costumes. When I was picked I said, "You know on my video I have exact characters." Then they said, "By the way we can't use that." So I had to cut it. Well, I did my best wink, wink, nudge, nudge.

JN: I appreciate you representing the comic book nerds. I was a comic nerd.

DE: Back when it wasn't cool.

JN: Not like it is now with Deadpool.

DE: That guy is cool now?

JN: What is one thing you took away from Drag Race?

DE: Deadpool! [laughs] No, honestly it was a prison with drag queens, not always in a fun way. It was amazing and a once in a lifetime experience definitely. It was so much. It was a race and crazy!

JN: Now you are going to be in prison with this group for a long time.

DE: Yay!

JN: They are your sisters now.

DE: Well, we have windows now so it is fine.

JN: You can just fly off as Storm.

DE: Bye!
