Presenting Miku Sushi

Many knew the prior restaurant Tank Sushi that is now Miku Sushi at 4514 N. Lincoln Ave. The spot just celebrated a year in business and it looks like there will be many more to come.

This Japanese restaurant really takes the cake in presentation but is not just another pretty plate.

The beautiful open dining room allows guests to view rolls being handmade by expert craftsmen.

Our server led us through a complete experience while being knowledgeable and unobtrusive at the same time.

Specialty drinks were the place to start the night off right. The Samurai with sake and Effen vodka was light and refreshing served up as a martini.

The Snow White contained yogurt, sake and soda. It could make a great summer drink even with the namesake.

The rock shrimp had just the right amount of spice with it's house glaze and it was difficult to not let a single one go to waste.

This restaurant is known for ramen noodle dishes and it did not disappoint. The spicy roasted garlic miso ramen has to currently be one of the best deals in town. A nice thing to split and it is not too spicy. The ingredients mix into an incredible flavor and includes pok belly and a soft boiled egg.

The spicy tuna ravioli is a must try with the sliced avocado on top of the crab meat. It seemed simple but not overworked and the presentation was photo ready.

Another photogenic dish was the tuna tartar sprouting a beautiful flower out of the appetizer. Everything had our mouth watering, while at the same time no one wanted to destroy the sheer beauty of the plating.

The Flaming Dragon Maki caused attention all over the restaurant arriving on fire. The shrimp, salmon, and tuna all matched perfectly together.

There was not a mediocre dish that we tried, leaving us completely satisfied with excellent service, and a full belly.
