Marvel Universe Live! flew into Chicago last week at the United Center then moved to the Allstate Arena through September 20. Can you imagine packing up all of that equipment? It would take someone with the strength of The Hulk! The Hulk character by the way is eight feet, five inches in the show and towers over everyone.

After covering comic conventions twice a year this show was definitely for the kiddies. Merchandise was out of control with parents dropping large sums for not only action figures and light up toys but the food and beverages were not cheap.

There were some gay parents among the crowd and some adorable kids that knew to appreciate the experience as well as be grateful for the money spent.

The show itself has piped in dialogue to accommodate the massive stunts and there are some amazing explosions to go along with them. One character not used in The Avengers movie franchise is Captain Marvel or Ms. Marvel who has some superb flying moments. Always nice to see another strong female character alongside The Black Widow.

The X-men do make an appearance and Wolverine gets the spotlight by the skin of his claws.

The bad guys have a lot of fun and this boy focused show makes up for the girl focused Frozen live endeavor.

Take the kids out for a night on the town before summer is over that still has enough power to cash in on this superhero craze while it lasts.
