Located on the corner of Clark and Illinois, Bombay Spice Grill & Wine offers a fun casual environment to what is for some people an intimidating cuisine. There are wraps and even a create your own menu for diners.
For people trying to eat healthy while still sampling fresh Indian food then this is place to be.
The dishes are prepared in olive oil keeping butter out of our arteries. Gluten-free along with vegetarian options offered for guests with dietary restrictions.
For drink there are specialty cocktails such as the Bombay Spice Punch with Absolut Vodka and Hibiscus tea or try the Bombay Chiller made with gin for only $10.
To go behind the scenes of what makes their entrees and appetizers so good, they offer healthy cooking classes at $45 on a few dates this fall. Chef Sunil Kumar instructs guests on simple things like searing tofu or how to make Chicken Tikka. The rice pudding finishes off the class and was good either warm or cold.
