Up until a year ago, this Lakeview East spot was called Lakefront Diner. Now that Stella put her name in the lights, this place has been through a revamp. Bright painted walls and local artists “for sale” art envelop you as you dine. A wonderful neighborhood diner that caters to everyone.

Brunch is no light affair here. Start with the endless coffee and move on to one of the generous portions of some of Stella’s breakfast staples. From French toast to egg skillets, Stella’s not letting you leave hungry. Come lunch time, you will find anything and everything that you need to stave off that midday hunger. Not to be outdone by surrounding restaurants, Stella’s offers special every night, augmenting their dinner menu. From “just like home” meatloaf and mashed potatoes to the sinful desserts, Stella’s is great any time of the day.

Whether you want to watch the Pride parade as it goes down it’s route or you want to cheer on a friend running the marathon, Stella’s is a great place to be. Growing with the neighborhood, yet remaining in it’s roots, Stella’s offers you some bang for you buck.
