Beating Yourself Up In A Love Match?

BY Darling Darby ("Ask Darby")

Dear Princess Darby,

I am in love with a lady who has broken my heart. She's left me. I know that we are two different people.

Should I try to get her back, or let her go?

Broken Heart.

Dear Broken Heart,

So you're in love with a lady that broke up with you. Now your're asking if you should let her go.

How can you go back to someone that you didn't leave but left you? No, the question is why would you go back to someone that left you?

Usually opposites attract. Even though you were two different people, it shouldn't matter. What does matter is that something was lacking. Whether it was common interests, personality differences, whatever, it didn't jell.

Although the particulars of the relationship weren't shared from the brief description of your partnership, I'd say move on. Don't beat yourself up. Life, love, living isn't a boxing match. If you want to beat yourself up, take up boxing!

So, you lost this round, you'll meet another "match".
My addvice to you, don't go where your not wanted, don't hang out with people who don't appreciate you. Bluntly, don't get used.

It's summer. Go out and have some fun and meet new people.

Put on those shades and move on.

Princess Darby
