Dear Help Me Darby!

BY Darling Darby ("Ask Darby")

Dear Princess Darby,

My close Personal Friend whom I have known has cut off our friendship, due to her new found intrest in her boyfriend. Even to a point that she has cut off relationships with her long time friends whom love her and no point of salvation.

The question here is that the boyfriend in her mind is the greatest thing on earth, pure and kind. But the other day, he was at his old girlfriend's house. He spent the night, and she told me that he's been dating him since his new girlfriend can not satisfy him. And that she's so stupid that he conviced her to moved in with him. Even turned her away from her loved lones.

I do want to tell, but I told her friend who cares for her a lot and cries for her safety, she says, just let go, she'll come back, and when she does, have open arms.

Let her ruin her life, if she can't find the light {her friends} then. she lost hope and the hell with her and life goes on. But I want to tell her cause this guy is scum, he goes to the clubs and tells her he's working, and she stays home..what do I do?

HELP ME DARBY!

Dear Help Me Darby!

It's the same story. When a gal falls in love; she sometimes drops her steadfast friends for her new found Atlas until er friends fall behind, and learns her man of her dreams has become a character from a Greek tragedy.

Your friend has a friend in you. From the description in your letter, she many not be in a healthy relationship. You're in an awkward position. Thhink about what you want to accomplish by talking to her. The real question is, if you do, would she listen...and would it help? The answer she may get from her partner may be unbelievable, but believed!

I'm curious how you both know, but your friend of concern doesn't have a clue of what's going on. Also, why are you concerned about her "safety" and that she will "ruin" her life? Are you insinuating that this could become a serious situation?

You're in a tricky situation. Before you act, think of the end result. You can discuss this with your friend if you're concerened for her safety. Take her out and meet by accident at the club where her boyfriend hangs out. Or, wait it out and see if she gets the picture, time will tell.

If her Titan who holds up her universe comes tumbling down, make sure you are there for her. That's what friends are for...to be there for us.

Princess Darby
